We can help you create a space that is beautiful, appealing, functional and healthy.
When you phone to arrange a consult we will have a brief discussion on the telephone to discuss your project and identify how we can best help you. Once we have an overview of the project we will know what to bring to the consult.
A designer will then attend your home or business and can bring along samples to use when discussing your project, eg. paint colour samples, soft furnishing samples, product catalogues etc.
This consult is an opportunity to discuss the many elements of designing and decorating a room:
- Who uses the space and their needs
- Storage needs
- Colour
- Furniture and furniture layout
- Soft furnishings
- Lighting
- Budget
After the consult the designer will return to the office and put together an overview of the consult noting things discussed. This will be emailed or posted to you.
After a general consult you can progress with your project on your own or take advantage of other decorating services such as scheme development, product selection and scheduling or project administration management.
If you are planning to manage your own decorating project you may find the following service of value - After an initial decorating consult you may find it helpful to have an additional consult at our nominated soft furnishing showroom where colour samples and ideas etc, can be bought along so that final soft furnishing decisions can be made for things such as curtains, blinds, upholstered bed heads, cushions and/or bed accessories. This services helps bring a scheme together to achieve the “look” that has been developed or planned from the beginning of the decorating process.
General decorating consult is $200 plus GST for the first hour and $30 plus GST each half hour thereafter.
