Relish Designs was launched in 2002 by Melissa Wittig.
Melissa recognised an opportunity to layer her Interior Design and Decorating qualifications and skills over 10 years experience in the property sector to offer a unique service. A career change inspired by motherhood which provided personal clarity and passion for “healthy home” design and decorating.
Melissa is a mother, designer and educator who has been recognised for her holistic healthy approach to design and decorating with articles published in print media and online.
As a designer Melissa understands the necessity for functionality and the reality of budgets.
As a decorator Melissa understands that each space created should be beautiful, functional and durable.
As a mother Melissa understands that parents want a safe, healthy space for their children. It is this basic understanding that drives her design flare and passion for healthy homes - where possible using sustainable materials that create a healthy, low emission space for families.
Healthy spaces are created through exploring and specifying products and materials that minimise VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) fumes released into the indoor air environment.
Clients receive added value in Melissa's drive to explore and source materials and products with reduced or eliminated harmful chemicals that are environmentally responsible and sustainable. Style, comfort, durability and sustainability can be achieved.
